My name is Niall Harbison and spent 4 years working on some of the biggest and best yachts in the world and am now building yachtiefriends.com to create a community for yachties around the world.

How do you build a website? How do you spread the word? How do you make a business out of it? These are all questions that I’ll be hoping to answer here.

This is the second website that I have started and am trying to make a business out of in the last year. One of the biggest problems I had in setting up the first one, iFoods.tv, was that I had to learn everything from scrath about building the site, marketing it and making money out of it. Hopefully the process of building this site will be a smoother one and that is something that  want to share here on the blog and hopefully help other people who are trying to do the same thing. I will be posting both articles and videos here to provide a compelling story about a start up business and also hopefully help others thinking of doing the same thing.
